The Friends of Gwen Freeman Lehman Foundation, Inc., is a non-profit foundation created by friends and former students of teacher/director Gwen Freeman Lehman for the purpose of perpetuating her legacy at Stephen Decatur High School.

The mission of the foundation is to provide a scholarship each year to a student graduating from Stephen Decatur High School who wishes to pursue the study of theatre at a college, university, or accredited theatre academy. The foundation wishes to encourage and embolden the dreams of students who seek to make theatre a part of their life’s work.
